Tim Carey Golf School
This program is designed for competitive junior players participating in tournaments. After attending the Junior Players Golf Academy (JPGA) in Hilton Head, SC, at the age of 18, I truly felt prepared for college golf and beyond. I learned how to practice effectively, develop golf course strategies, engage in mental training sessions, conduct comprehensive game assessments, track statistics, and apply these skills in competition. My goal is to impart everything I learned during the nine months at the golf academy, as well as insights gained from my 20 years in competitive golf.
By joining this team, players will benefit from weekly practices starting in April, along with golf-specific drop-in workout classes commencing in February and monthly mental training sessions beginning in April. The program includes 12 private golf lessons throughout the year, providing personalized training tailored to each player. Participants will also enjoy discounted greens fees at Squirrel Run and Village Links, as well as team uniforms for tournaments, including golf bags and accessories.
I will assist each player in crafting a tournament schedule and encourage them to maintain a stat book for tracking their performance, which will help us identify areas for improvement and leverage their strengths. Monthly tournament practice plans will be provided to guide their preparation.
